Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity ("you") and Daily Reset ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), concerning your access to and use of the Daily Reset mobile application (the "App") and any related services (collectively, the "Service").

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all of these Terms. If you do not agree with all of these Terms, then you are expressly prohibited from using the App and you must discontinue use immediately.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Daily Reset, you accept and agree to these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms by posting updates and/or changes to this page. Your continued use of or access to the App following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

Description of Service

Daily Reset is a task management application that provides:

• Smart task prioritization using proven productivity methods
• Daily task organization and focus sessions
• Cloud synchronization across devices (optional)
• Time tracking and productivity insights
• Gamification features including XP, levels, and achievements
• Import capabilities from other task management systems

User Accounts

Account Creation

To use certain features of the App, you must create an account. Account creation options include:

• Email and password registration
• Apple Sign In (streamlined authentication)

By creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your account information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Immediately notify us of any unauthorized access

Account Responsibility

You are responsible for safeguarding your account and all activities that occur under your account. We cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this security obligation.

Data Storage and Synchronization

Daily Reset stores your data both locally and in the cloud:

• Local storage: All data is saved on your device for offline access
• Cloud storage: When signed in, data automatically syncs to the cloud for cross-device access
• Data control: You can delete your data at any time through the app's privacy settings
• Offline capability: The app functions fully even without internet connection

Subscription and Payment

Subscription Plans

Daily Reset offers the following subscription options:

• Free Trial: 7-day trial with full access to premium features
• Monthly Subscription: $2.99 per month
• Annual Subscription: $19.99 per year

Payment Terms

• Subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store
• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
• Renewal charges occur 24 hours before the current period ends
• Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice

Free Trial

• New users receive a 7-day free trial
• No payment required during trial period
• Trial automatically converts to paid subscription unless cancelled
• Cancel anytime during trial with no charge

Cancellation

• Manage subscriptions through your Apple ID account settings
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• Access to premium features continues until period ends
• No refunds for partial periods

Refunds

All sales are final. Refund requests should be directed to Apple's App Store support, as they handle all subscription billing and refunds according to their terms and conditions.

Acceptable Use

Permitted Use

You may use Daily Reset for:

• Personal task management and productivity
• Creating, organizing, and tracking your tasks
• Accessing features included in your subscription plan
• Syncing data across your personal devices

Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or activity
• Violate any international, federal, provincial, or state regulations, rules, or laws
• Infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or the rights of others
• Harass, abuse, insult, harm, or threaten others
• Submit false or misleading information
• Upload or transmit viruses or malicious code
• Spam, flood, or send unsolicited communications through the Service
• Collect or track personal information of other users
• Use the Service for commercial purposes without permission
• Interfere with, disrupt, or create an undue burden on the Service
• Attempt to bypass any security features
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App

Content and Data

Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create in Daily Reset, including:

• Task titles, descriptions, and notes
• Time tracking data
• Personal preferences and settings

License to Use Your Content

By using our Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to:

• Store and process your content to provide the Service
• Use anonymized, aggregated data to improve our algorithms
• Backup your data for service continuity

Content Guidelines

You are responsible for your content and agree that it will not:

• Violate any laws or regulations

Your use of these services is subject to Google's terms of service and privacy policies in addition to our own.

Service Availability

• Technical difficulties beyond our control

Service Modifications

• Accuracy, reliability, or completeness

No Professional Advice

Daily Reset is a productivity tool and does not provide professional advice. We are not responsible for decisions made based on information or features provided by the Service.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Daily Reset be liable for any indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including without limitation damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses arising from:

• Your use of or inability to use the Service
• Any unauthorized access to your data
• Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Service
• Any bugs, viruses, or the like that may be transmitted by third parties
• Any errors or omissions in any content

Our total liability to you for all damages shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Daily Reset from and against any loss, damage, liability, claim, or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees and expenses, made by any third party due to or arising out of:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of the rights of a third party
• Your content or data

Termination

Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by:

• Deleting the App from your device
• Cancelling your subscription through the App Store
• Contacting our support team

Termination by Us

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately if:

• You breach these Terms
• We suspect fraudulent activity
• Required by law
• You engage in prohibited use

Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

• Your access to the Service ceases immediately
• We may delete your account and data
• You remain liable for any outstanding payments
• Provisions that should survive termination remain in effect

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be filed exclusively in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution

Before filing any formal dispute, you agree to try to resolve any disagreement informally by contacting us at support@dailyreset.app.

Binding Arbitration

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

Class Action Waiver

You agree that any arbitration shall be limited to the dispute between you and us individually. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish the objectives of such provision to the greatest extent possible under applicable law, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the use of the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral, relating to the subject matter herein.
